Hurricane Preparedness

This is a good time to stock up on some items such as bottled water, canned goods, batteries, etc.  A more comprehensive list of supplies can be found in the hurricane preparedness guides available at most local grocery stores.  Now is the time to properly trim your trees, not just before a storm is heading our way.  Be prepared & plan.

BOARD MEETING
Tuesday, May 16, 2006

Call to order:

Time: 7:10 p.m.
Location: Offices of Miami Management
             1145 Sawgrass Corporate Pkwy.
             Sunrise, FL 33323

Determination of Quorum:
Board members present were: G. Stroud, M. Jimenez, T. Melton and L. Paynter
Board members absent were: S. Whitten
The Chairperson announced that a quorum was present.
Representing Miami Management: LeeAnn Mattioli

Confirmation of Proper Meeting Notice:
Notice was posted on the property at least 48 hours prior to the meeting in accordance with Florida Statutes.

Open Forum:  None

Motions:
Motion to waive the reading and approve the March 29, 2006 Board meeting minutes as submitted.

Motion to accept MMI landscape replacement proposal as submitted pending confirmation of irrigation repairs and operation.

Discussion:

• Manager to send final notice to homeowners with roof damage stating 20 days or file to be turned over to the attorney.
• Manager to review insurance policy regarding coverage for entrance walls.
• Manager to send new rental package to 1403 Way and discuss eviction issues with Master Association.
• Manager to meet Board members on Friday, 5/19/06 for walk through of community.
• Manager to include new tree replacement options on June’s agenda.
• Manager to mail out Annual Meeting Notice for June 20, 2006 meeting.

Next meeting will be Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at 7 p.m.
